Both the Marsanne and Roussanne grapes are grown on our home vineyard on Osoyoos East Bench.Both plants were in their fifth leaf in 2009.Both wines were fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve the delicate aromatic components. Approx. 12% of the wine was aged in new American White Oak barrels for just four months in order to add a subtle, yet distinct backbone of oak.
Tasting Notes: Stone fruit, citrus and mineral notes are quite strong on the nose. Good acid levels combined with mid palate notes of candied lemon, peach and Granny Smith apple create a wine with long, dry and crisp finish. 387 cases made.
