Blend composition:47% Viognier, 46% Roussanne, 7% Marsanne.
All of the gapes used for this wine were grown in our home vineyard on the East Bench of Osoyoos.
All wines were destemmed, crushed, and fermented in stainless steel. All lots were fermented separately, then blended prior to bottling. No malolactic fermentation was allowed to occur.
Harvest: Marsanne: Oct 1, Roussanne: Oct 21, Viognier: Oct 17.
Tasting Profile: The 2008 vintage of this blend, like its 2007 version, displays a predominantly Viognier nose with vibrant aromas of apricots, mayflowers and honey. The palate follows, with peach, tropical fruits and floral notes. The wine has nice weight and body on the palate, is smooth and has long, vibrant finish.
